I’ve had a very frustrating experience in this class. We’re given multiple assignments each week, but it often takes several weeks for anything to be graded—making it hard to track our progress or improve. On top of that, the instructor often seems unprepared and unsure of the material she’s teaching. There have been several instances where she’s gotten her own work wrong during lectures, and her explanations tend to confuse both herself and the class. It’s made learning the material way more difficult than it needs to be. I had to take this class because it was a requirement for my major, but the teacher is honestly so bad and made things way more difficult. I would not recommend taking a class with her. I honestly think the only reason the class was so hard was because of her. A more proficient professor would have made things easier.

This class was incredibly disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. Professor Vidushi does not seem to know how to teach or facilitate a class in a way that allows students to actually learn. Most lectures consisted of her standing at the front of the room confusing herself and the rest of us in the process. I ended up relying almost entirely on the textbook and independent studying because her instruction was unhelpful and often more confusing than clarifying.
The assignments were long but grading was painfully delayed. We’re now at the last day of the course, and three major assignments still haven’t been graded. On top of that, our final assignment, which is supposed to be comprehensive and time-consuming, hasn’t even been given to us yet, but it’s due in just two days. The lack of organization and time management has made it nearly impossible to keep track of where we stand in the class or know if we need to take extra credit opportunities.
She demands so much from students but gives us very little in return no timely feedback, no effective teaching, and no clear structure. It’s been one of the most frustrating academic experiences I’ve had. I truly hope the department takes a closer look at how this course is being taught by her. Students deserve better. Overall the class isn’t hard but the professor definitely made it a struggle.
