Platts is such an amazing professor, he really walks you through sociology as a whole so you can comprehend it. You are able to bring an index card to tests (his test reviews are a god send!), there's a final essay that you have the entire semester to do, and classwork assignments that take about 5 minutes to do. His lectures were fun and entertaining and full of stories that helped me understand the theories and sociological concepts fully. On top of all of this, Platts is a pretty down to earth guy, he is more than willing to work with you when you ask for help! (took class in fall '23)
