Katarina is a great professor! She makes the class fun and easy and she has so many great life experiences relevant to the subject. I took Intro to South Asian Religions with her. She does value you doing the readings, and just requires a short paragraph once a week asking what questions we have. The class is sometimes a brief powerpoint but mostly just class discussions. She is really accommodating if you just communicate with her! We made one exam a take home exam and another essay into a presentation. And she gave great feedback on the final paper. I strongly recommend taking a class with her, it will be worth it!
