Really fun class. As long as you do the homework you should do fine on the tests.

Herman is incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly fun.

Class w/ Prof. Herman is once a week and then you have discussion 3x a week. Discussion was sometimes pointless, but the class w/ Herman was always very helpful.

Professor Herman is intimidating. But that doesn't mean he's not the best teacher in the Russian department (which I'm inclined to think is true). He's able to explain anything and loves to give examples, which are always supremely helpful. 201 is a hard class--very rigorous--but in the end worthwhile.
