As an engineer I was looking for a completely different class to get away from all the math and science of the e-school. This was a great class! It was definitely challenging, but it was also definitely worthwhile. By the end of the first semester you can read hebrew out loud and translate sections of the old testament! Prof. Halvorson-Taylor is fantastic!! She is so nice and engaging, and has the class over for dinner at her house at the end of the semester!

Professor Halvorson-Taylor is awesome! Unfortunately, Biblical Hebrew is A LOT harder than I would have expected. However, it is so worth it and there is surely no better teacher to learn it with.
