This class requires little work with Mathewes. We had to submit a 500 word response each week to the reading that we then discussed in class. Mathewes rambles on a bit, so the class does not require that much participation. But he is a surprisingly hard grader for the final paper, so don't get lured into a false sense of security for an easy A
