I took this course when it was called Theological Bioethics. This course is very interesting and useful for those wanting to major in philosophy, public health or medical anthropology! As a public health major, I really appreciated the content focused on all the major ethical contentions within medicine and health. I learned a ton that served me well throughout my future years. The amount of reading, however heavy, was necessary in order to learn the content. It was very ethics and philosophy focused, very good for pre-law students as well. Tests sometimes were very difficult, but the professor made sure to give guidance on what topics to focus on especially for the essays.
