Chandra Mason is not super engaging, but she is nice. She does have funny stories and goes on tangents a lot. She makes jokes about beer/uva football a lot which is funny. and you get out of class early sometimes. But sometimes she answers questions during lectures and goes on for like 10 minutes about an unrelated topic. No homework except for txt book readings. Tests are fine if you read the powerpoints and txt book. She is not super helpful for office hour questions but the TAs are really good about extra office hours before exams.

Professor Mason is very funny and interesting and her lectures are entertaining. Tests are hard but if you read the textbook and take good notes in class they are easy Bs. This class is very applicable to every day life and will be useful in many job fields.
