PLPT 3020

Jingcai (Francis) is an amazing TA for this course! He, like White, is very funny and entertaining. Francis genuinely cares about his students and your success. He is very willing to meet you outside of class and talk about whatever you need clearing up. He even gives review sessions before the exams that are helpful. His discussions are very useful and greatly added to my understanding of the material. You can't go wrong with Francis!

Overall, I nice guy, but that doesn't overlap with his grading style. He's a much harsher grader than the other TA's. Sometimes doesn't know all the material (I guess to be expected with a TA). Wasn't a huge fan. I wouldn't expect too high of a grade. He only gives out very few A's. Discussions were painful at times. Wasn't really impressed.
