I would definitely recommend Drawing II with Amy Chan because it is very open. She gives loose prompts and allows you to use multiple mediums and techniques. Amy assumes everyone has adequate drawing knowledge from Drawing I so she embraces abstraction and even lets you use a projector or trace paper to copy images. That being said, she expects a lot from students. Amy wants to hear your plan throughout projects, pushes you to change ideas she doesn't think are good, expects you to participate in critiques, and can be a hard grader. Ultimately, I really liked this class because she gives you so much freedom that you feel like a real artist.
