Schoyer IS crazy, haha. But she is open minded and is willing to help you. Always come to class, do your work, and push yourself to do better each assignment; you'll be fine.

Schoyer is crazy. She's actually a pretty nice person, but as a teacher she will get on your nerves. Whenever you show her an idea for a project she will have plenty of suggestions and criticisms, and you will probably have to come up with another idea. Schoyer assumes everyone's drawing skills are solid and a lot of the projects aren't directly drawing related. And everyone has to do this crazy group performance project at the end of the semester.

She is a bit crazy, and not in the good way.

This woman is certifiably crazy. Her idea of a good assignment is to "Crawl on your hands and knees around the circumference of your dorm room and draw what you see". People openly laugh at her bizarre, frustrating, and inane project assignments. On top of that she is very unhelpful and will suggest you change something about finished projects, which invariably adds another 2-3 hours of work. Avoid!

She can be very demanding and pushy, but she pushes you to your best. She is very opinionated but if you learn to work with her and her ways, she can be very beneficial.
