Day knows his stuff well but has a hard time keeping the interest of the class. Read the textbook and his slides, understand the concepts well and do some practice problems. The practice exams (except the third one) were almost never accurate to the real one which was 3-5 times more difficult. Make sure you're hitting the average score or above for the midterms and you'll end up with a decent grade.

Lecture is useless, confuses himself often in them, but is good one-on-one during office hours or when you schedule an appt. with him.
Slides are really good as well, be sure to look at them before tests.
