I really enjoyed this class! Professor Wong is really engaging and she goes into great detail on all the art pieces. It may seem like an overwhelming amount of information at first, but I got used to her teaching style pretty quickly.
The tests/quizzes were a bit nerve-wracking because there were so many pictures to memorize lol, especially later in the semester with many painting names and artists, but the grading is very generous and you get a sense of what is important to remember during the lecture. Take detailed notes during class because the slides are mainly just pictures.
I stopped reading the textbook halfway through because it wasn't even as detailed as the lectures IMO.
Do the extra credit!!

If you go to class, you don't need to do the reading. The quizzes were a bit tricky if you didn't prepare thoroughly.
