I absolutely loved having Professor Pfister for Physics I! This semester he taught the class in an online, asynchronous section which was super convenient. Professor Pfister's lectures were always very easy to follow. He is an engaging and clear lecturer which is a stark contrast compared to other professors in the department. He gave plenty of conceptual and computational questions in lecture. I watched every lecture this semester despite the easy to skip online format. You can tell that he really cares about his students. For the asynchronous section, Prof. Pfister made longer learning catalytics quizzes which I never did well on, but as with other professors you get 70% credit just for participating. All Professors had the same midterms but different finals, and I will say his final was challenging. But overall compared to the other physics professors, Professor Pfister is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend taking the class with him if you are able.
