PHIL 1510

Really did not enjoy, but only Phil course I've taken at UVA so not sure how it compare to others. She really did not seem to care about her students and to be frank was sort of rude. Only met with her once on zoom because all her lectures were recorded. She assigned so much reading work for no reason (that did not count grade wise for much) and which was not even helpful topic wise for the final paper at the end which counted for a lot. I expected it to be easier for a 1000 level phil class, but she is fresh out of graduate school or still in it not too sure, so this is probably why she grades much harder then she needs to be grading for this class. Her grading styles are so frustrating, one of those teachers who refuses to give people above an 89 or whatever, will keep you right at the benchmark of B+ and give you no real ways to improve your score to an A- #tCF2020
