Professor Galen is very responsive to questions and concerns outside of class. He really explains philosophical concepts clearly making it interesting. Do take less notes and listen more (as I regret not doing). The materials on the tests are totally expected! If you come into the class ready to participate and learn about varieties of skepticism, then your grade is of no concern!

Galen is very engaging and makes complex philosophical ideas simple for students to understand. The course load is not difficult at all, just one reading per class. There are 3 short written homework assignments based on readings, a midterm, and a final paper. Galen also has a good sense of humor!
