Highly recommend this course for anyone interested in improving their general musical abilities. Adam Carter is a super nice dude, and he's more than accommodating of any circumstances/late work/etc. Just show up to class, pay attention, and stop by office hours if you're struggling.

The weekly singing/rhythm homework definitely gets tedious (sometimes I forgot about it until late and ended up having to sing at 11:30pm), but it is never unmanageable and this course isn't a huge load.

This class can be pretty tedious at times since you really need to practice the material to stay on top of everything. Not too demanding of a class, but I wouldn't recommend trying to do the assignments last minute unless you already have a lot of ear training under your belt. Prof. Carter was pretty fair when it came to grading assignments and he's always willing to help out in office hours.

The rhythm duets sort of sucked but everything was pretty fair. There's homework every day so definitely do them since its 50% of your grade, but it's not the biggest deal if you don't do well on one of them. I definitely learned a lot in the class and would recommend every musician to take it.
