I took History of the Internet with Professor Kevin Driscoll in fall of 2016 and cannot recommend it enough. Professor Driscoll is engaging, enthusiastic and approachable, and we learned more about the history of the internet in a few months than I ever thought possible. The readings are definitely heavy, but Driscoll explains everything thoroughly in class and also creates hands-on projects to supplement the course content! I don't know if this class is being offered again in the spring, but if it is - take it!
