Professor Ramsey is pretty fun. He likes to start off class with a joke or a funny story about his kids. His class can be difficult at times though. He tends to rush through initial steps, which can make it hard to learn them (it took me almost all semester to figure out to find eigenvectors because he always skipped the process). Lectures can be a bit boring (especially in an hour fifteen minute class). He's good about returning homework in a timely manner, a little less so with the midterms. The first midterm was extremely difficult, but then again, this was his first semester teaching a class. The second midterm was much more suited to the level of the homeworks. The final was somewhere in between. All in all, this is a pretty good class, and required for physics/astrophysics majors.
