This is a doozy of a class. It's tough and you move quickly through the material, but it's actually pretty interesting in a applied and geometric sense. My advice for success in this class is to read the textbook after lectures, go to office hours, and do a lot of practice problems. I found that I learned very little in lectures, but I was able to understand the concepts when revisiting the material after class. Professor Maloni is very helpful. I got the sense that she didn't particularly enjoy teaching our class, and I think she's used to teaching higher level courses, but if you're persistent with her then she comes to like you and will help you out. If you prove that you're putting in effort then she'll be happy to help. But if you ask her some question that you could've figured out by reading the textbook, don't expect her to be too happy with you. 2 midterms, a cumulative final, weekly online and written homework assignments.
