I would recommend linear algebra to anyone interested in math, but I would advise against taking it with Mrs. Parshall. She lacks the ability to make the class enjoyable, and keep in mind that I am saying this as someone who loves math. Her understanding of the material is somewhat lacking, as there were a couple instances in class and office hours where she would have to consult the book or skip over something purely out of lack of understanding. She is also occasionally rude. Once when asking her about a missed question from a test, she told me, "now what you did here was just stupid." Also, she often seems annoyed by requests for help, even at office hours, which is very annoying. I found the material taught in class to be interesting, but the experience as a whole was negative.
