Awesome teacher very easy take it for sure

Matucci is the most entertaining professor in the entire Math department. Not only does he keep your attention with his quirky mannerisms and sense of humor, but he also manages to make something as potentially abstract as linear algebra intelligible to anyone regardless of Math background. Truly brilliant and a must-take.

FREEDOM!!!! (written on the board at the end of every class)

Matucci is awesome. Take this class and you won't regret it. If the homework has hard problems he will usually go over them in class so you can fix it before turning it in. Exams were very fair. And yes he is best known for writing FREEDOM on the board at the end of every class.

I loved Matucci. He's pretty funny, and the classes are in general pretty enjoyable. Linear Algebra was probably the easiest math class I've taken at UVA, which is weird cuz it's 3000-level, and I definitely think taking it with Matucci had something to do with that.

Best math professor that I've had at UVa thus far. Explains everything so clearly and makes math extremely easy to understand. He's also subtly hilarious/sarcastic and you never lose attention (Unlike many other math classes)

Freedom! Matucci is a well-prepared, funny professor who truly cares about his students and their understanding. His lectures are accessible and clear, and the tests/quizzes/homework are fair. Take any class with Matucci, he is awesome!
