Even though I did well in this course, I found it to be pretty stressful, especially since it was online. Two of our exams were "oral exams", which meant a 15-minute, one-on-one zoom call with Professor Sherman, where he posted questions and you had to write down your solutions and show them to him. We had weekly classwork, where we were put into small groups (on zoom) and had to submit problems by the end of class. There was online homework every week, written homework some weeks, and the occasional reading comprehension quiz. I read and took notes from the textbook, which helped me better understand the concepts, especially since we didn't cover everything in lectures. I think I learned the most from the online homework problems though. Overall, I feel like I was challenged in this course and learned a lot, but I am glad it's over.
