Calculus lll is unfortunately a pretty dry class. Because there is so much material, it's hard for the lecturer to do much other than straight lecture. That being said, Marja is an extremely sweet old woman whose accent and other idiosyncrasies actually made it easier for me to pay attention. Her homework assignments were helpful and actually reinforced the material well rather than making me do hours of bullshit. I never went to office hours, but she was extremely responsive and thorough over email. She is also one of the fairest testers I have ever had (and from talking to friends with other teachers, she is undoubtedly the fairest Calc lll teacher). Her tests will test you on whether or not you know the material she taught. Nothing more, nothing less. In sum, take this class with Marja
