Professor Kriete is a great professor. He knows his stuff and is one of the nicest professors I've met, although lectures can be a bit boring. That said, the class is fairly difficult. There are homework sets every week which take a lot of time, and there are three midterms in the class which are short but fairly difficult as well. Kriete doesn't give that much other work though, unlike many of the other teachers for Calc 3. I would recommend taking it with him definitely.

The homework is difficult but it is the main thing that teaches you the material. Tests are semi-difficult
Great Professor. Very knowledgeable and even funny. Homework problems are fairly difficult, but exams are somewhat easier. The exams usually have a takehome part, which a potential free 10 points for the test. Most importantly, the prof is very clear and good at explaining things.
Kriete is very very boring but don't let that fool you! His lectures are actually worthwhile to listen to. While they will not provide any direct help on your homework, it should help you understand the material. That being said, you don't really have to understand anything to do well in this class. Just memorize how to do all the example problems in the book and you'll get an A on the exams. His hw problems can be very hard; go to OH. He'll tell you how to do them.
This class wasn't all too bad. My discussion didn't help, but if you go to his office hours he he very welcoming to any questions you have.
