Kruskal is a pretty good math teacher for calculus III. He is a little bit awkward about answering questions and can sometimes come off as a little bit harsh when someone asks a stupid question, but I think he generally is a nice guy. The quizzes were much more difficult than the tests and the homework is pretty standard for math homework.

Prof. Krushkal was always really helpful in and out of class! He did a lot of examples in class and was diligent in making sure everyone understood the material. Tests were a little hard, but doing the homework helps a lot!
Slava is a fairly good lecturer for Calc III and I hardly found myself losing focus in his class. His quizzes are easy if you pay attention in the discussion but the hws are annoying. Overall good class.
Class isn't bad, but grading can be a little harsh. Not good with awarding partial credit.
Krushkal does a good job of relating a fairly difficult course material to the class. The homework is not excessive, and he does a good job of making sure everyone knows what the exam will cover. I would recommend him to anyone taking this class.
Best math professor I've had at UVA. His accent is a little hard to understand but once you get used to it, you'll hardly notice it. He's very clear, gives lots of examples, and will answer any questions you have after class or in office hours. Also gives practice tests before every exam which are VERY useful.
Slava is really smart and a pretty fair teacher. My issue with him was that he was too smart to explain some of the concepts clearly. Other than that, he is good.
