MATH 1210

Professor Kurtz is a really good Professor and makes the material really easy to understand. She holds office hours right before the exams and will go over any material. I am not the best at math so I wasn't sure what to expect going into this course but it's not hard at all to get an A in her class -- just go to class and ask any questions you have. Definitely the easiest, best, and most fun Professor to take for this math class.

Professor Kurtz is so amazing. If you're going to take calculus and its not really important for your major (bio for ex) take it with her! She is so understanding and makes class enjoyable. She gives partial credit on tests and she's also super flexible I've had so many office hours with her and each time I feel better about what we learned. It's still a difficult course but if you need to take it shes probably the best professor to do it with!

Professor Kurtz is phenomenal. This class is perfect for non math majors, so if that is you, I would recommend taking this class with her. I am not the best at math and I managed to get an A- in her class. She cares a lot about her students, and is more than willing to help and answer any questions you may have. She is VERY kind with grading, and gives partial credit where partial credit is due. I took this class during the summer, so the material was much faster paced than it would have been in fall or spring semester, but overall, professor Kurtz made the material pretty understandable. She has a great and fun personality as well, so she made the class much more enjoyable than any other math professor would have. If you want a good grade in calculus, do yourself a favor and take it with professor Kurtz!
