I would not recommend taking this course to fulfill any requirements unless you already have some experience in calculus and are just trying to refresh yourself. Even then, there are probably better and less stressful alternatives out there. Quizzes will constantly throw tricky questions that were not properly explored in class. Piazza contributions are also graded, and in order to receive full marks for it, you will have to submit around 50 posts. I took this class with Wu and, while I have nothing personal against her, I found her classes boring at best and extremely confusing at worst. It was not even that the content was particularly difficult, the explanations were just very poor and dry. She is not very good at getting the class to participate, and group work was often awkward and drawn out.

The math itself is easy, easier than my high school calculus AB class. So I did come into this class knowing pretty much all the material. Even so if your teacher is OK then you should be fine. All that said, the profs are grad students that are great at math and not so great at teaching unfortunately and it makes the class more difficult than it should be. Webassigns are easy (I recommend taking notes on these as I learned more from these than I did in class). Exams 1 and 2 not too hard but also slightly more difficult than expected. Final also not bad. Ended with an A-. Overall, this class wasn't bad, however, I think with prior knowledge the class is A LOT easier.
