The class itself wasn't that hard but Slinker is terribly awkward. Friends who took this class other semesters with a different teacher had much better reviews and did better overall. Weekly homework and one question quiz, plus two midterm tests and the final

I took this class as an alternative to retaking calc, and to fill my Math/Science requirement in the College. Overall, it wasn't a bad course, the material is much easier than calculus, and the workload is not bad- 1 homework assignment and 1 quiz a week, 2 midterms and a final. Slinker was not the best professor; he always made mistakes while doing problems on the board and wasn't always clear, but he was ok I'd probably recommend taking this class with another professor if possible.
