Dean Berger is a great teacher. Make sure you go to class so you can get practice in with problems and try and look at the homework before its due so you can bring questions to class.

Dean Berger is an awesome professor; for being an important university figure, he is very approachable. He takes the time to personally help his students, though he is often very busy. i highly recommend taking courses he teaches. He also learns names in classes that have upwards of 120 people.
Berger is a great professor. He leaves lots of time for practice problems during class that then helps with the homework. He does move through material pretty slowly, but it was still an enjoyable class.
A pretty simple course. If you don't like it, you probably shouldn't be majoring in mechanical/aerospace engineering. Berger is a solid professor but goes through the material pretty slowly.
Berger is a great lecturer who thoroughly guides you through the problem-solving process of statics. If you do the homework, go to lectures, and go to the one of many office hour sessions available, you should easily get an A.
Great class
Berger is a great statics teacher. His teaching style is very easy to get used to and learn from.
very fair grader. he uses a lot of technology, sometimes it seems like he does too much and it doesn't help, but the video solutions online are extremely helpful.
Class is boring for the first half of the semester. It gets pretty challenging in the latter half. Can get away with missing class for the first 4 weeks (but do the HW!), but not after that...
This class is very boring and basically consists of doing 3 homework problems before every class. You teach yourself from the book and most of the material makes sense. Berger is not the best teacher and doesn't really care about this class but its a required class for MechE and overall isn't too tough.
