This is your basic Ovid translation class. You go in each day with translation prepared, and you go line by line. The great thing about 4000-Latin is that you don't have to waste time on grammar lectures anymore--everyone is expected to know it. I found it very interesting because Ovid's Metamorphoses & Fasti are great. Myers is extremely fair in her tests and grading. Sometimes we would spend time talking about certain festivals or myths, and those were always fun classes. Since 4000 level Latins always have a greater writing component, we had to write a few line reports (which I found pretty fun since you're writing your own commentary), an analysis of an article, and a paper.
