The content of the class was SUPER interesting which is probably what made it good for me. The tests are "open note", you get a few sheets of blank printer paper to WRITE (like yes, handwrite) your notes on and you can use those on the exam. If you actually use the slides as a reference and put in a few hrs into those sheets. 1) you really wont need to use them, as the action of writing it and condensing it for the sheet helps you remember it and 2) you'll do well on the exams. They take the entire class period and you have to be on time and locked in for those days but other than that, showing up and committing yourself to learning the material will make this class super fun and enjoyable. All of the material was useful in later classes and will definitely be useful in med school or research labs.
