Professor Ogunnaike is the best! I took this class as a bio major for the second writing requirement and I’m so glad I did. While it is very reading heavy and some of the readings may be difficult to understand, Professor Ogunnaike goes over them in class and makes them so much easier to understand. He explains important arguments in each reading of the week and then opens up the class for discussion, and allows everyone to express their opinions on the readings, whether it be critiques or things they agree with. The grading is quite fair, 30% participation and another chunk is the journal, the other is the final essay which has a 20 page requirement (double spaced) about anything related to the class. Highly recommend!!
