The class itself is pretty similar to ENGR 1010, with the major exception of the semester long client projects, where groups are tasked with formulating solutions to problems on Grounds and in the Charlottesville area. Towards the middle and end of the semester, this project takes up the most of class time as well as time outside of class. These projects span a variety of clients and topics, and it is thus understandable that it may be hard to manage for a single person or department. However, I often felt that Starling didn’t have a full understanding of what our project entailed, making it difficult for our group to complete the intermediate assignments to her expectations. When met with difficulties with group members, Starling was very receptive to concerns and did her best to resolve them. She’s very fun and does her best to make a monotonous class more enjoyable. #tCFS24
