Professor Destefano is one of, if not, the best professor that I have had in my time at UVA. She made a class that is objectively not that exciting worth attending because of the work that we did to learn about the material. Greater than the work, she genuinely cares about her student's wellbeing in and outside of class which is oftentimes overlooked especially in the E-School. Her love of D&D, personal development, real-world topics, and holistic wellbeing engage you every time she speaks and makes the class feel like a collaborative environment where we are all welcomed to feel heard and seen. I could not recommend this class more! Simply attend class and put in effort on the extra credit assignments and you will reap the benefits of this course.
