I do recommend Electronics overall. This is a very time-consuming but intriguing class. The format of the class is lecture for the first hour to 75 minutes, then studio work (like lab work) for the rest of the time. You work with your classmates on the studios, but everyone submits their own work at the end of the week. I liked that Professor Bowers didn't seem to go too fast during lecture even though there was a lot of content to cover. He is also a very nice person. That being said, most of the content was difficult, at least for me. Office hours are your friend in this class. There was often material in our analysis and design homeworks that wasn't covered much or at all in lecture, so I ended up learning that information in office hours. This worked out well enough, but I do wish more of the material for these homeworks was covered in lecture. I always found the work interesting and at least somewhat fun. There was no required reading, which was nice. Overall, I think this class is worth the effort and is definitely a great way to build on knowledge from Applied Circuits.
