Professor Vucelja is exceptionally kind and is the type of person who should be a Professor. She deeply cares about her students and does what she can to provide reasonable accommodations for them.
About the course structure: There were weekly homework's, in addition to optional textbook readings and demos that she would post on the Canvas page. The homework's were never exceptionally difficult and were often completed within a reasonable time frame. There was a midterm exam and final exam that were worth around 65% of the overall score, with everything else being homework. They weren't curved, but they were graded very, very generously. If you attempted and provided some kind of reasoning for everything, you would get a decent score even if it was completely incorrect.
The cons of this class are as follows: the lectures were often very disorganized and disjointed when I took this class. Fair warning that office hours were often the best place to go to get feedback. There were also times where answer keys would be slightly off, or generally unhelpful. These cons could be alleviated by just going to office hours though.
We were provided a practice midterm and a practice final exam. If you could complete them, you were set for the actual exams.
