(*Fall 2023) Siva is the best!!! This class is very low stress, but I still feel like I learned so much. He explains the material in an accessible way and made me motivated to learn more about the issues on my own time. Your grade consists of 10 or so low-stress in-class writings that pretty much just ask your thoughts on a particular topic related to media law, and 5 open-note unlimited time quizzes (usually multiple-choice, sometimes writing). There was a lot of reading which I did all of, but I sort of wish I didn't as it was pretty repetitive. Just do enough where you feel comfortable talking about the topic in your in-class writings. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Really interesting class and a great professor! Every week we would meet to discuss the videos/readings/podcasts that were listed on collab in a small group and then Professor Vaidyanathan would lecture about the topic. In terms of work load, there were weekly 200ish word reading responses and a few open note quizzes throughout the term. I felt like I was able to learn a lot without constantly being stressed about assignments or something. So long as you care about the class, you'll do great!

Take this class, he's so nice and the assignments and tests are very straightforward!
Weekly assignments which is just a writing prompt for 250 words that is graded as P/F and a total of 5 tests. Really good class :)
