Professor Gleek is understanding and accommodating. He listens to the needs of his students. He also really cares about their wellbeing. He doesn't mind granting extensions as long as you talk to him. Class mostly consists of guest lecturers that you listen to and ask questions, along with a little bit of lecture and group discussion with Professor Gleek and classmates. I didn't do the readings and still ended with an A in the class. However, you do need to buy the book because you'll need it to write three of the four essays that make up your grade. The fourth essay is about what grade you think you deserve and why, using evidence from class. Overall, it was a fairly easy course.
