Professor Freenor is great. It’s not an “easy” A but you have to do all the work and understand what’s going on. It’s sometimes hard to apply lecture content to the HWs and projects, but if you have enough coding experience it’s easy. I just didn’t. Anyways, I was still able to figure out the homeworks and get mostly As with no coding experience aside from intro to CS. Take this class with freenor he’s a beast and has lots of real world business Knowledge in ML

Freenor is an extremely knowledgable and seasoned professional. I would say that the lecture slides are sometimes a bit confusing but he is so personable and patient that you shouldn't hesitate to stop him and ask, because he will be a G and explain anything.

Coding experience is definitely helpful (but I have heard that he allows the use of GenAI on assignments, w/ citations ofc). The midterm and final projects required code files and slideshow presentations. I didn't think coding out the analyses was too hard, especially while referencing the homework exercises.
