This is low-stress, fairly interesting ECON elective. Professor Moore has a background in both teaching and the private sector, providing an interesting perspective and many relevant anecdotal stories throughout the semester. Work consists of reading business news articles and writing weekly reports on case studies, and lecture discusses those articles and their applications in the context of firms creating and maintaining a competitive advantage. From my viewpoint, it is more like a comm class than an economics one, meaning no math/calculus. There is an online midterm and final based on readings and concepts taught in class, and I found the grading for both to be rather confusing and slow, but fair overall. Would totally recommend this as ECON elective. #tCFS24
