Njelle Hamilton is a great professor! If you're interested in sci-fi/Caribbean lit/tech/African-American studies you should definitely take a class with her. Class has a bit of group work and an average amount of reading for an English class, but there was also some movie and TV heavy units. but Prof. Hamilton doesn't just want to see essays for every unit, you have the option of making a creative project. This was great especially post-COVID because I got the chance to make something creative for my final project as kind of a stress reliever for the rest of my finals. Overall, a must take class and a definite A if you put in some care towards the assignments.
