This class was super easy and pretty interesting! There was a weekly discussion post, two tests, and two essays. There were also readings to go along with the class, but I didn't find them necessary. The essays and tests were made to be sorta fun and creative. Professor Rogers is great and understands what it's like to be a student and is very willing to work with you to help you succeed.

Professor Rogers is super passionate about the subject. He knows it very well, and clearly enjoys teaching it. He is also a very caring professor, who takes the feelings and stress of his students into account. He always checks in and asks for feedback. This class is unrelated to my major, but SO interesting. I thoroughly enjoy learning about Pompeii with Dr. Rogers, and have learned so much! You do not have to come in with knowledge of Pompeii or art history, just with eagerness to learn! You do not have to memorize every detail of the readings either. They really help to contextualize and reinforce what you learn in lecture.
