Prof. Peeksmease is by far one of the best professors I ever had at UVA. 10/10 would recommend for anyone trying to learn something (requires active participation and attending class)!!! He is so passionate about the course material and his students. There is a good deal of reading and intermittent assignments, but if you keep on schedule the class offers a lot to learn. Prof. Peeksmease makes you think about the environment and the social structure in which we live by having you constantly relate what you learn in class to outside material (videos, news articles, etc).
