After taking four years of German, I can confidently say that I learned more this past semester than I did in high school. Granted, I do say that in regards to grammar because a lot of the vocab we learned this semester I already knew, but we went over a lot so I'm sure the vocab content was great too.
Frau Schroeder is a great professor. She's very willing to help students and keeps class relatively interesting. I will say she is a little more picky with grading than I am used to, but if you do all of the work and the extra credit (which isn't too hard) you'll do well. I also really enjoyed the fact that we did a final project instead of an exam. I feel like it better demonstrates our use of the language as opposed to some timed written responses.
Overall it was a great class and I highly recommend it for anyone thinking of taking German!
