There are many other religious studies/Christianity focused classes at UVA that are much better options. This was boring and not worth the time at all, as much of the content was statistic/historical based and not so much about the interconnections of Christian denominations like I thought it would be. Professor Henry did bake sweets for us when we had exams which was very kind, and he really does value what every student has to say. Your grade is based on participation, two midterms, and a final group project. Although this course was an easy A, it wasn't worth the headache it gave me every single lecture.

Professor Henry is one of the best professors I have had at UVA. He is engaging and kind and is always willing to meet with you or work with you if you are struggling. This course is also great for an introduction/overview of global christianity and the readings are all really interesting. I highly recommend this class or any other class with Professor Henry!
