You work on a group comparative policy project (like a policy memo with tons of research) throughout the the whole semester, worth 40% of the grade. You are assigned to groups in the beginning of the semester based on your policy interests. Your team can either make or break you, you have to coordinate with them a lot, so make sure you work with good people. You also submit 5 response papers based on the readings (1 page each, worth 10%), participation is 15% and you also have a midterm and a final exam. They are open-book but the time is limited, so you gotta work fast. Overall, not a hard class but a lot of tedious work. Easy to get a B+, A-, hard to get an A.
