Weighting: 45% homeworks, 20% midterm, 25% final exam, and 10% participation (quizzes & attendance).
Typical week: Homework due on Tuesday night--either a longer programming assignment (which you should plan to go to Mon or Tues OH for) or a shorter written tutorial. Next week's homework usually released on Thursday or Friday. Sometimes a reading from the textbook due on Friday (expect a 10-minute pop quiz). Attendance randomly taken--this happened more consistently toward the end of the semester.
Bloomfield was designing this course as he was teaching it, so some of the homeworks were a complete flop and the weighting was completely readjusted, but it was a solid intro to network security and the TAs were a gift from God. If you've ever taken a class with Bloomfield, you can expect the same general structure/difficulty of grading in this one. My biggest complaint from this semester was how inaccessible Bloomfield was. Hopefully his support request system and OH times will be better next semester.
