fountain is really nice. i took his propaganda and conspiracy theories class, and it was extremely interesting. im not too much of a reader, so it felt sort of dense - it was about 30 pages in between classes. he rewards participation in his lectures (like any english teacher), and he isn't a strict grader. he does require you though to source a lot from the readings in the essays, however it's not as bad as it sounds. to be honest, i was definitely swamped with a lot of work this semester so i read only about like 50-60% of the readings and then skimmed the rest and I got an A, so being able to participate in class and follow along doesn't require completely finishing the HW, but i definitely had to make up for the missed readings when I did my essay, in which I basically tried to scan the remaining readings to find any points that could be used to support my ideas.
