The content of the course is pretty interesting if you are interested in the development of India's economy, but would be pretty boring if not. However, whether you are interested in India's economy or not, I highly recommend this course. Sushma is a caring and understanding teacher who is passionate about the subject. The class has 3 online exams, group presentations every few weeks, and a final group research paper. There is little to no week-to-week work, but I recommend taking the notes before class since she reinforces them and goes over them in class. If you pay attention and take notes during/before class, you will do perfectly fine. I recommend signing up with friends, because she lets you choose the groups you keep for the entirety of the semester.

Fairly boring class, but a kind professor who makes the content digestible and easy for students to do well if they put effort into the assignments.
